He has served as an adjunct professor at William Jessup University in the Department of Music and has had articles published by The Gospel Coalition on the arts and theology.

Paxson and Allison share a passion for worship and have been leading and writing worship songs together for over 15 years. Over the years they have led workshops and seminars on songwriting, worship leading, and nurturing artists. They have worked with a number of musicians including Brent Bourgeois, Keith Edwards, and Mike Roe. They have recorded with a number of skilled producers and engineers including Rich Ayres and Colby Wedgeworth.

Together, Paxon and Allison have served as worship leaders for a number of national events including the 2005 Sacrifice of Praise Worship Conference, the 2006 General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America, the 2007 Mercy Ministries Conference, the 2008 Kingdom Discipleship Conference, and the 2008 Worship of God Conference. They have also partnered with a variety of ministries and organizations including Serge, Global Church Advancement, and Mission to the World. From 2010 to 2012 they participated in the Worship Conference hosted by William Jessup University as well as the Intersections Conference on faith and the arts. Most recently they have partnered with churches and ministries in central Florida to encourage, equip, and renew other worship leaders, pastors, and ministry leaders.

Paxson and Allison live in West Melbourne, Florida with their two daughters, Laura and Mallory.
