Our Ministry
Serving the church | cultivating the creative process
Paxson and Allison share a passion for worship and have been leading and writing worship songs together for over twenty years. Their recording projects include a variety of psalms, hymns, and original worship songs. They formed Rhythm of Worship in 2003 to provide musical, liturgical, and devotional resources; formative teaching; and practical training for the church. These resources and services are available online through their website and onsite by booking them for a worship event, seminars, workshops, or consultation.
Paxson’s book, Lectionary Journey: Worship Aids for the Christian Year, provides Scripture-based worship aids for each Sunday in the Christian Year over the three-year lectionary cycle. Lectionary Journey ensures that we are being called into worship, praying, and affirming our faith through the Word. It allows Scripture to be woven throughout our corporate worship services, letting its language, narrative, metaphors, themes, teachings, truths, and paradigms form and shape us, week after week. In 2020 we released our sixth recording project, You Keep Hope Alive. Check out the video below for a preview of these new worship songs. Click here to purchase this project.
